1980s Vintage Orbea Road Bike - Valencia, Spain

Before the thought of moving to Spain was anywhere on my radar, I loved Orbea bikes.

In fact, the only time I ever got hit by a car - in West Los Angeles - I was riding an Orbea I borrowed from a friend.

Orbea bicis are all over Valencia.

According to ChatGPT (don’t resist, it’s better than Google):

-This is a 1980s (1983-1986) Orbea Silver
-The very thin tubing + lugs suggest it’s probably good quality steel, not cheap "department store" level.
-Those red/yellow/orange stripes are so 80s Spanish cycling. 🇪🇸
-A rare Spanish vintage bike you don't see outside Spain often.
